Songbooks

This is a collection of songs I used when I was running a morning class for singing and an evening choir in Osho Commune Poona.

I have not checked chords for a while, but they did work then.

Many people are interested in songbooks to remember all those songs we have sung together with Osho and at so many celebrations.

I am aware of quite a few collections of songs : 1. The Osho Songbook, 2. The “Vancouver” Songbook, 3. The “little” Songbook that has been distributed in Poona for a while and 4. Shantidharma’s Collection of Heart Dance Songs

One thing you can check out right now is the online version of the Vancouver Songbook

I have discovered that all these collection are incomplete. Maybe Shantidharma or Narayani have more complete collections. Anyway it seems to be a growing thing, So many people are writing new songs or bring some that have never been used for celebration and are just great.

I plan to keep working on this. One thing next to having the words and chords online is to bring out as many mp3 recordings as possible, for everyone like me who cannot remember the tune and also cannot read score.

For now I will create separate pages for each song.
